Wing RS 100 Black Mid-Tower Reviews

Tool-less design, ample drive slots, fairly quiet, light-weighted and also light on budget.
Front bezel is plastic and is a bit loose. Front audio/usb is a bit hard to get to.

The case is very light compared to my Antec and Coolmaster cases because of the the thin metal build and plastic front. I don't really like the protrusion at the top and it could case the front to come off if you hit something against it (I did it a few times). It is more affordable though and has plenty of space for drives and ATX motherboards. I love the tool-less design and also the 120mm case fan that came with it. Overall, it's a great budget case if you can get it under retail. At retail, as other reviewers have pointed out, you can probably get a better built cases out there.

Glossy look, tool-less design, good build quality, lots of bays, 120mm Fan
The plastic protrudes up a little (part of design) taking more space

I got this case to replace another case with no front audio jacks. I love this case - it is black, it has a glossy look, the design is sleek, it has a lot of bays, 120mm fan to keep it running cool and plenty of space inside for my motherboard. The quality is decent - neither bad nor to great. I find it more stylish than many other cases that I have used so far.Like any other standard case, it comes with the necessary screws etc to mount the mother board inside it. There are enough vents to maintain a god airflow. A 120mm fan is always preferred since it gives a much better airflow even at lower RPMs.One thing that I do not like much is that the front plastic cover protrudes up a little. Though it makes the case look nice, but if requires more overhead space when I keep the case under a desk. Not a big hassle though. Moreover, if the company did not put their name on the front of the case, I would have preferred it as well. A decent case for a good price.

Tool-less design for everything but the motherboard and PSU screw-in.
Some of the edges are a tad bit sharp. Plastic front looks a bit cheaper than the metal that the rest of the case is made of. You can't reinstall, the shields for the 5.25" and PCI slot covers.

Nice case. There's space for two 120mm fans, the design is sturdy and open, it's attractive, and the toolless install for the cards and drives is a breeze. The fan is unfortunately quite a bit louder than my hard drive, but it's still acceptable. The case cools well. My e7200 CPU doesn't go above 60 degrees, even on full load. All in all, a great value with much greater strengths than drawbacks.

Tool-less design for everything but the motherboard and PSU install. Nice, quiet 120mm case fan. Pretty sturdy. Attractive glossy piano black finish.
Some edges are a tad (but not overly) sharp. Six of the PCI slot covers pop out and can't be replaced. No case speaker. Only one additional external 3.5" drive bay. Reset switch hard to poke.

For a cheap case, this Thermaltake runs circles around generic brands. The case is study (I can sit on it), and the tool-less design (save for the mobo and PSU) is really convenient. Unfortunately, the PCI slot covers can't be replaced after removal except for the top one. And unfortunately, there's only one 3.5" external drive space because the other one is occupied by the front USB/audio. .. The duct is nice, but you'll have to remove that if you have a big tower HSF. The spin lock mechanism for the drives is the best tool-less mount I've seen yet. And the 120mm fan is barely louder than my 640GB WD drive. .. There's no case speaker. The front power button doesn't seem to push in uniformly. And unfortunately, the reset button has to be poked with a pen or clip. The internal sheet metal edges have mostly been rolled in, but there's still a few moderately sharp edges. I got a few small cuts during the install, but they didn't hurt and I didn't know until I was done. Nonetheless, the strengths outweigh the weaknesses. It's sturdy, the fan is big and quiet, and the interior is roomy. A great value over other more expensive higher-end name brand cases.
